The shipment, totaling over 800 metric tons, departed from Qingdao Port in late November 2025 and is scheduled to arrive at Port Klang by mid-December, marking another successful milestone in the company’s expanding presence in the Southeast Asian market.
The square steel bars supplied in this order primarily consist of carbon structural steel grades Q235B, Q355B, and S355JR, with specifications ranging from 20×20 mm to 150×150 mm. All products strictly comply with Chinese national standard GB/T 702-2017 and European standard EN 10059, featuring excellent straightness (≤3 mm/m), precise dimensional tolerances, and superior surface quality. To meet Malaysia’s tropical marine climate requirements, ZXSTEELGROUP applied specialized anti-corrosion primer coating on the entire batch and used heavy-duty waterproof packaging to ensure the steel arrives in perfect condition even after long-distance sea transportation.
The Malaysian client is a well-known local steel structure fabrication and heavy machinery manufacturing enterprise that has been rapidly expanding its production capacity in recent years. Following multiple rounds of technical exchanges and sample testing, the client ultimately selected ZXSTEELGROUP as its long-term strategic supplier due to the company’s outstanding product stability, competitive pricing, and efficient delivery capabilities. “ZXSTEELGROUP not only provided steel that fully meets our technical specifications but also demonstrated remarkable flexibility in production scheduling and logistics arrangements,” the client’s procurement director commented during the signing ceremony.
To ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery, ZXSTEELGROUP provided complete sets of documents including Mill Test Certificates (MTC), commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, all stamped with official company seals and third-party inspection reports from SGS. Additionally, the company arranged marine insurance covering 110% of the cargo value, comprehensively eliminating the client’s transportation risks.
This order is ZXSTEELGROUP’s third large-scale square steel bar export to Malaysia in 2025, with cumulative export volume to the Malaysian market exceeding 2,500 tons this year alone. The company stated that Malaysia, as an important node country in the Belt and Road Initiative, has continuously growing demand for high-quality construction steel driven by active infrastructure development and industrial upgrading.
