The ASCE 30 rail is designed for mining railway transportation, with specifications equivalent to the Chinese 15kg/m steel rail. It is available in standard lengths of 6m and 8m, and material options include Q235 carbon steel and 55Q high-strength steel.
As a light rail section, the ASCE 30 primarily uses Grade 700 carbon steel, optimized for cost-efficiency and flexible deployment in low-axle-load scenarios (e.g., temporary tracks, industrial transport). Its design prioritizes lightweight applications over heavy-duty crane systems.

ASCE30 rail is a type of light-duty rail in the railway rail category, suitable for scenarios with low axle loads, temporary use, or medium to low-speed transportation. It is widely applied in industrial track systems with small to medium loads.
The ASCE rail is mainly used in industrial bridge-type/gantry crane runways and track transportation systems.

Mining and Raw Material Handling
In small-scale mines or internal transport systems of factories, ASCE 30 rail is used to support the movement of ore, raw materials, or finished goods via light rail vehicles. Its strength and durability allow it to absorb impact and load stress in short-distance, low-capacity routes—streamlining material flow in mining and processing operations.
Marine & Yard Tracks:
Although QU/UIC series crane rails are commonly used in ports, ASCE30 rail is suitable for small track transport vehicles in storage yards, auxiliary mobile track equipment at docks, as well as sliding door or track door systems in warehouses. When paired with rubber cushion plates (to reduce vibrations) and adjustable rail clips, it can be used in scenarios such as auxiliary tracks for container yards and dock cranes, meeting the operation requirements of light-duty equipment (such as small tractors).
In-Plant Transport:
The ASCE rail is highly popular in scenarios requiring precision and long service life, thanks to its good load-bearing capacity and stiffness. It is suitable for in-workshop tracks or cargo transfer lines between factories, and is compatible with equipment such as forklifts and rail flatcars. Its standardized dimensions (such as bolt hole configurations) make it easy to connect with existing railway equipment.
Temporary or Simple Track Facilities
In some temporary engineering or simple track application scenarios, such as temporary material transportation tracks on construction sites and temporary display tracks in exhibition venues, ASCE30 rail is widely used due to its easy installation and relatively low cost.
